Most walls are sized wrong in one of two ways: too small for the far seats, or a size that does not fit standard cabinets and costs extra to cut. Three checks fix both.
Check 1: height from the farthest viewer
Wall height ≈ farthest viewing distance ÷ 8 for video, ÷ 6 for slides with text. A hall where the last row is 16 m away needs a wall about 2 m (6.5 ft) high; at 16:9 that is roughly 12 × 6.5 ft.
Check 2: aspect ratio
- 16:9 for video, presentations and TV feeds: 8×4.5, 12×6.75, 16×9 ft.
- 4:3 or 3:2 for stage backdrops and worship where the wall fills a proscenium: 12×8, 12×9 ft.
- Custom ratios are fine on LED; PixelOS scales content, or you design content to the wall.
Check 3: cabinet multiples
PixelSpot indoor cabinets are 640 × 480 mm (about 2.1 × 1.57 ft), outdoor 960 × 960 mm. Walls that are whole multiples avoid custom cabinets. Common clean sizes:

Room limits to check
- Leave 150 mm behind the wall for rear-service cabinets, or choose front-service cabinets for a flush fit.
- Bottom edge at least 900 mm from the floor in seated rooms so the front row is not looking up.
- Check the door and lift: cabinets ship as 640 × 480 mm units, so access is rarely a problem.
- Wall load: about 30 to 40 kg per m² for indoor cabinets including frame; brick and RCC walls are fine, gypsum partitions need a floor-standing frame.
