What digital signage is.

Digital signage is any screen that shows what you decide, when you decide it: today's menu, this week's offer, the token number, the way to the lifts. It replaces printed flex, light boxes and notice boards that need a new print every time something changes. Every working system has three parts.

1. The display

An LED wall or LED screen built to the size of the space, an LCD panel in a fixed size, or a free-standing standee. The spot decides which: viewing distance, daylight, wall or floor.

2. The content software

It sends pictures and videos to the screen and decides when each plays. Without it, someone walks up with a pen drive every time the menu changes. PixelSpot screens run on PxlOS, our own software.

3. The content

Short, readable, made for the size and distance of the screen. We load the first playlist with you on installation day.

Which screen for which spot.

Start from where people stand and how much light falls on the screen. For LED, a rule of thumb: comfortable viewing starts at about 1 m for every 1 mm of pixel pitch, so P2.5 looks sharp from about 2.5 m.

LED vs LCD digital signage.

The two technologies are good at different jobs. Most businesses that use signage well use both.

PxlOS: the software that runs your screens.

A screen is only as useful as what is on it. PxlOS is PixelSpot's own content software, and every PixelSpot LED wall, standee and LED TV comes with it. It runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a laptop; there is nothing to install.

The people who install your screen also support the software. See PxlOS Cloud and the PxlOS Suite.

Digital signage by industry.

The hardware is the same; the job differs by business. Each link goes deeper.

Retail stores and showrooms

An outdoor screen on the fascia to stop passers-by, an indoor board above the counter for offers, a portrait screen at the door. Showrooms put the product on screen at full size.

Restaurants, cafés and menu boards

A menu that switches from breakfast to dinner on its own schedule. Outdoor-grade where the counter faces the street, as at Açaí Theory; LCD panels or an indoor LED board inside.

Corporate lobbies and offices

A reception wall that carries the brand by day and the town hall by evening; LCD screens in corridors for announcements, scheduled by the admin team on PxlOS.

Hospitals and clinics

Token numbers, consultant timings and directions in waiting areas. Wall-mounted LCD displays suit corridors; an LED board suits a large waiting hall.

Schools and colleges

Notices and timetables at the gate, and an auditorium screen for assemblies and annual day, sized from the last row.

Hotels and banquet halls

The event name at the hall door, standees at the drop-off and a stage backdrop the venue owns.

Places of worship

A clear view of the altar or sanctum for the back of a crowded hall, lyrics, announcements and festival schedules.

Malls and DOOH advertising

Mall stores compete for a few seconds of attention; a portrait LED display at the door, as at Amukti, earns them. A screen facing public footfall can list spare slots on the PixelSpot DOOH marketplace for advertisers to book.

One screen or a network across India.

A single café screen and a chain of stores use the same PxlOS login. What changes with a network is planning.

The same spec in every store

We agree one standard per format so every store looks the same and spares fit every site. Odd sizes are surveyed one by one.

Groups and schedules

Group screens by city or store type. Head office pushes the campaign; a single store can still run its local offer.

Built once, shipped by road

Every LED screen is built and burn-in tested at our Bengaluru factory, crated and sent by road. Our own crew travels to install it. Freight and travel are lines on the quote, not surprises.

Watched from one place

PxlOS shows which screens are online across the network. Many problems are found and diagnosed remotely, before anyone travels.

Digital signage questions.

What is digital signage?

A screen that shows what you decide, when you decide: a menu, an offer, directions, token numbers. It has three parts: the display, the content software that sends material to it and schedules it, and the content itself. PixelSpot supplies the first two and helps with the third.

Which is better for signage, LED or LCD?

It depends on the spot. LED tiles to any size with no bezels, runs up to 600 nits indoors and up to 4,500 nits outdoors, and is the right choice for a shopfront, a facade or a screen behind street-facing glass. LCD comes in fixed sizes, is made for indoor light and stays sharp up close, so it suits counters, receptions and corridors. Many sites use both.

Can I change the content from my phone?

Yes. Every PixelSpot screen runs PxlOS, our own content software. You upload an image, a video or a line of text from a phone or a laptop, set the days and hours it should play, and the screen updates. We load the first playlist with you on installation day.

Can I run screens in several cities from one place?

Yes. PxlOS puts every screen under one login. You can group screens, change one screen or a whole group at once, and see which screens are online. For a larger network, talk to us about screen groups and user access before the rollout.

Do you install digital signage outside Bengaluru?

Yes. Our own crew installs across Bengaluru and Karnataka, and we deliver and install walls across India. Every LED screen is built and tested at our Jalahalli factory, crated and sent by road, and our crew travels to install it. Freight and travel are quoted with the screen.

What does digital signage cost?

It depends on the display and the site. For an LED screen, what decides the price is the pixel pitch, the size, indoor or outdoor, the controller, the mounting structure and site access. For LCD screens and standees it is the model and the quantity. Use the configurator for an estimate, or send your size and location on WhatsApp and our team calls you with the best price.

Do you make touch screens or kiosks?

The LCD Desk 10 Touch is a 10.1-inch touch display for counters, used for digital menus, feedback and product catalogues. For a larger touch screen or a floor-standing kiosk, ask us with your use and location and we will tell you plainly what we can supply.

Do you rent digital signage screens?

No. We don't rent LED walls or screens. For a one-off event, an event-AV company that rents screens is the right call. If you will use a screen every day, owning it costs less over time, and that is what we build.

What warranty and service do I get?

LED walls, LED screens, LED standees and LED posters we build carry a 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty, with 5% spare modules left on site. LCD displays and LED TVs carry the warranty stated on their quote. PxlOS lets us check a screen remotely, and our own crew attends when a visit is needed.

Plan your digital signage.

Tell us the spot and the size. The configurator gives you an estimate, and our team calls with the best price.
