Mangaluru is about 350 km from our Jalahalli East factory. The van leaves by Tumakuru Road to Nelamangala and takes NH-75 through Kunigal, Hassan and Sakleshpur, down the Shiradi Ghat to Uppinangady and B C Road, and into the city. With panels on board it is usually a seven to eight hour drive. Both figures are approximate.
The ghat is the part to plan around. In heavy monsoon weeks Shiradi can slow down or close, and the alternatives are the Charmadi Ghat through Mudigere or the Sampaje Ghat through Madikeri, both longer. So for Mangaluru we fix the install date with the weather in view, and the crew stays overnight: a day to travel, then mounting, calibration and handover.
The coast also decides the build. Outdoor cabinets are rated IP65 at the front and IP54 at the rear. For a site near the sea we use stainless fixings and plan drainage on the structure, because ordinary galvanised hardware rusts quickly in salt air. The same trip covers Surathkal, Udupi and Manipal to the north along NH-66, and Bantwal, Puttur and Moodbidri inland. Udupi is roughly 55 km up the coast from Mangaluru, so a survey for any of them is planned together with a Mangaluru visit.

What is the price of an LED video wall in Mangalore?
Outdoor P4 is ₹5,300 and outdoor P6 is ₹5,000 per sq ft + GST. Indoor P2.5 is ₹6,150 per sq ft + GST. These are installed rates with the controller extra, the same as in Bengaluru. A 10 × 6 ft outdoor P4 wall is ₹3,70,000 + GST with the controller included.

How bright should a screen on a Mangaluru showroom facade be?
A screen that faces the street needs an outdoor panel, up to 4,500 nits, which dims automatically after dark. Inside the showroom, up to 600 nits is right. A screen behind street-facing glass also gets the outdoor-grade panel.
