Search for an LED wall supplier in Bangalore and the listings look alike: the same cabinet photographs, the same "best price" promise, the same P2.5 headline. What differs is where each supplier sits in the chain between the factory and your wall. That position decides the price you pay, who turns up when a module dies in year three, and whether the replacement module matches the batch around it. None of these is dishonest by default. A distributor is the right supplier for a dealer who resells ten walls a month. But an end customer in Jayanagar buying one 10 by 6 ft wall is paying for two or three layers of margin and getting the accountability of none of them. Direct from the maker vs through a dealer: where the money goes
An imported cabinet reaches Bengaluru carrying sea freight, customs duty, IGST on import, clearing charges and the importer's markup before a dealer has even seen it. The dealer adds a markup of his own, then hires riggers, a fabricator for the mild-steel frame and an electrician per job, each with a margin. Every one of those parties is a stranger to your wall.
When the supplier is the maker, the cabinet, the frame and the crew come from one place. PixelSpot fabricates the mounting frame at its own facility, burn-in tests every panel before dispatch and sends the same engineers who assembled the wall to install it. Published rates start at ₹5,500 per sq ft for indoor P2.5, with the controller, structure, cabling, installation and 5% spare modules inside that figure. The saving is not only on day one. In year three a matched replacement module from the maker's own batch costs ₹1,800 to ₹4,500 fitted; a dealer has to source it from whoever imported the original lot, and a module from a different batch shows as a colour patch on the wall.
The ten-minute test: whose testimonials are they?
The fastest way to place a supplier in the chain is to read their reviews and ask who wrote them.
- Testimonials from other dealers, integrators or event companies ("reliable partner", "prompt dispatch", "good credit terms") mean you are reading a distributor's page. Their customer is the trade, not you.
- Testimonials from a cafe owner, a facilities manager, a temple committee or a school principal mean the supplier deals with end customers and lives with the wall afterwards.
- No named, visitable installations in Bengaluru means the photographs may be stock images or another company's work.
Ask for three walls you can go and look at. A cabinet price per square foot is not a wall price. These are the lines that go missing from dealer quotations in Bangalore, and how PixelSpot states each one.

If a quotation comes in well below ₹5,500 per sq ft for indoor P2.5 installed, one of those rows has been left out, or the modules are used or low-grade.
Spec decisions a real supplier asks about before quoting
A dealer who quotes from a one-line WhatsApp message without asking these questions is selling stock, not a solution.
Pixel pitch by viewing distance
- P1.2 to P1.8: boardrooms, studios and reception desks where the nearest viewer sits within 3 metres.
- P2.5: showrooms, restaurants, lobbies and shopfronts read from 3 to 5 metres. The most supplied indoor pitch in Bengaluru; see P2.5 vs P3 before you go coarser.
- P3 to P4: halls, stages and retail atriums viewed from 5 to 10 metres.
- P6 to P10: outdoor hoardings and building facades seen from beyond 10 metres.
Brightness in nits
Indoor walls are rated 800 to 1,200 nits and run at 30 to 50%. A shopfront behind glass or a semi-outdoor canopy needs 2,500 to 4,000 nits. A wall facing direct Bengaluru afternoon sun needs 5,000 nits or more, with auto-dimming so it is not blinding at night. A supplier who offers one "universal" panel for all three situations is guessing.
IP rating and cabinet type
IP20 to IP30 is fine indoors. Outdoors, the front face needs IP65 against monsoon rain and dust, and the rear IP54 if it sits under a canopy. Die-cast aluminium cabinets are lighter and flatter than sheet-metal iron cabinets, which matters on a glass shopfront or a slim recess. Front-service modules are essential where there is no rear access, as at the Acai Theory shopfront and the corporate cafeteria wall. Camera-facing walls for studios, stages and town halls need a 3,840 Hz refresh rate so they do not flicker on phone video.

Why the Karnataka GSTIN on the invoice matters
A supplier registered in Karnataka bills a Bengaluru customer CGST 9% plus SGST 9% on HSN 8528 for the panels and SAC 9987 for installation. That credit appears in your GSTR-2B without a place-of-supply argument. A trader billing from another state charges IGST, and a dealer who invoices only the cabinets and treats installation as a cash job leaves you with no input credit on that part. Install and service reality: from Jalahalli to your site
PixelSpot's experience centre and dispatch point are in Jalahalli East, in the north-west of the city near Peenya. A crew leaving there for Jayanagar, JP Nagar or Banashankari covers roughly 20 to 25 km, which is 60 to 90 minutes on a weekday via the Outer Ring Road or NICE Road. So a morning call from south Bengaluru is a same-day visit and an afternoon call is next morning. Whitefield and Electronic City are further out and are planned as the first job of the day. Across Karnataka the same crew drives out: Tumakuru inside two hours, Mysuru about three, Hubballi-Dharwad, Belagavi and Mangaluru as overnight trips scheduled within the week. When a dealer or another supplier is the right choice
- You need a wall for one evening. A rental company with a stock of event cabinets is the better call; see LED wall rental.
- You are outside Karnataka and the Hosur-Krishnagiri belt. Buy from a maker or integrator whose crew can actually reach you.
- You need a mobile LED van or a scrolling text board. Products we do not build.
- You are a reseller buying twenty walls a year. Talk to us about trade supply, but understand that you then become the supplier your customer will call.
