When LCD still wins
- Control rooms and data dashboards where operators sit under 1.5 m from the screen and read small text all day. P1.2 LED does this too but at ₹18,000+ per sq ft.
- Budget walls under 4 sq m where a single 86 to 98 inch LCD gives the same area with no seams at all.
- Touch interaction; LCD touch overlays are mature.
When LED wins
- Any wall seen from 2.5 m or more: lobbies, showrooms, stages, worship, restaurants.
- Any custom shape or size, or a wall larger than about 6 m².
- Anything near a window or outdoors.
- Walls that will be photographed or filmed; bezels are ugly on camera.
