A straight answer for a shop owner in Bangalore. We make LED screens. We do not print flex. This page says when flex is the right answer, when a screen is, and how to count it for your own shop.
A design printed on a PVC sheet. It is tied up, or stretched on a frame as a flex board. It is fast to make and low in cost for each piece. It shows one message. To be seen at night it needs a lamp on it, or a backlit box behind it.
A full-colour display built from LED modules. It shows photos, video and text. You change the content from a phone with PxlOS, our software. An outdoor screen is up to 4,500 nits and dims itself at night. Its cabinets are IP65 at the front and IP54 at the rear. It costs far more on day one, and it needs power.
LED sign board in Bangalore ›PixelSpot does not print flex. A flex printer near your shop does. If you are still choosing between all the kinds of sign, start with sign boards in Bangalore: every type, compared.
Often. Buy the flex if any of these is true.
It is a one-off. An opening week, one festival sale, a single event.
The site is temporary. A stall, a pop-up, or a shop you may leave soon.
The area is very large and the budget is small. Flex covers a big wall for little money.
The message will stay the same. If nothing changes, there is nothing for a screen to do.
There is no power point near the spot. A screen needs one. A plain flex does not.
Nobody in the shop will update a screen. A screen with one old slide on it is a costly banner.
In these cases a screen would be money spent on something you will not use.
Your offers change often. Every week or every month, and each change means a new print and a visit from the printer.
You have more to say than one banner holds. A screen rotates several offers on the same frontage.
Your message changes through the day. A breakfast menu in the morning, a different one in the evening.
You trade after dark. A screen is its own light.
Old banners stay up. Last month's offer is still on the wall because a reprint is a chore.
Video sells your product better than a still picture.
One real case. Açaí Theory runs an open-front café in Indiranagar. The shopfront takes direct daylight for most of the afternoon. A printed menu board faded into the glare. We built an outdoor LED wall into the shopfront, and the team now changes the menu and offers from a phone.

We do not know what you spend on flex, so we will not guess. Fill in your own numbers. Ours are fixed, and they are printed below.
| Line | What to write down | Figure |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Your flex spend, last 12 monthsPrinting, fixing and design, all added up | ₹ ________ |
| 2 | Times you changed the bannerIn the same 12 months | ________ |
| 3 | Times you wanted to change it and did notBecause of the cost or the wait | ________ |
| 4 | Our screen: 6 × 4 ft outdoor P6Controller, structure and installation included | ₹1,46,000 + GST |
| 5 | Our screen: 6 × 4 ft outdoor P4Controller, structure and installation included | ₹1,54,500 + GST |
| 6 | Electricity for the screen, per yearAt your own tariff; we give you the wattage for your size | ₹ ________ |
| 7 | Who will make the contentA name, and the hours a month it will take | ________ |
Lines 1 to 3 are yours. Lines 4 and 5 are ours. P6 suits a screen read from across the road. P4 suits one read from the pavement. GST at 18% is added to both. The screen is bought outright.
Now compare line 1 with lines 4 and 5, and look hard at line 3. We print no payback period, because it hangs on line 1, and only you know line 1. If line 1 is small and line 3 is zero, keep the flex.
Sizes smaller than 6 × 4 ft are priced on survey. The configurator gives an instant figure for any size › Every size and pitch is on LED wall price in Bangalore. For line 6, see LED wall power consumption.
If the worksheet points to a screen, this is how it goes. Our own crew does every step.
Survey. Free. We measure the spot where the flex hangs now, check the wall behind it, find the nearest power point and note where the afternoon sun sits.
Drawing. The screen at true size on a photo of your shopfront, with the pitch chosen for that spot, and the price.
Build. The screen is assembled and burn-in tested at our factory in Jalahalli, Bengaluru.
Fit. A steel frame goes on the wall and the cabinets bolt to it. At Açaí Theory we installed during closed hours, so the café kept its normal trading day.
Content. PxlOS is set up, and your team changes what the screen shows from a phone.
Every screen carries a 2-year warranty.
No. PixelSpot makes LED screens only. For a flex banner, a flex printer near your shop is the right call.
Yes, by a wide margin on day one. A 6 × 4 ft outdoor P6 LED screen is ₹1,46,000 + GST with the controller and installation. A flex banner of the same size costs a small part of that for each print. A screen makes sense only when the message changes often.
We do not publish a payback figure. It depends on what you spend on flex reprints, and only you know that. Use the worksheet on this page with your own numbers.
Yes. A fixed board for the shop's name and a screen for the offers that change is a sensible mix.
An outdoor panel of up to 4,500 nits is built for daylight, and it dims itself after dark. If the face takes harsh west-facing afternoon sun, our free site survey checks the angle and the shading.
We don't rent LED screens. For a one-off sale, a flex banner or an event-AV company that rents screens is the right call.
If it points to a screen, get a price for your exact size, or call us on +91 72048 08334. If it points to flex, buy the flex.
