The brief
Amukti sells ethnic wear from a store inside a Bengaluru mall. Mall corridors are crowded with signage, and a static lightbox at the entrance had stopped turning heads. The store wanted moving visuals of its collections at the doorway, without eating into the display window.
What PixelSpot recommended
- A portrait LED display built into the entrance pillar, so the screen is the first thing shoppers see from the corridor.
- Fine-pitch indoor panels for the 1 to 3 metre viewing distance of a mall walkway, so fabrics and faces stay crisp.
- Brightness tuned to mall lighting, vivid without glare.
- PixelOS cloud CMS so the merchandising team schedules new-collection videos and festive offers by time of day.
Installation
The frame was sized to the pillar so no floor space was lost. Cabling runs inside the pillar to a processor in the back office. Installation took place before mall opening hours, and the display was commissioned and handed over with content already loaded.
The result
The entrance now runs full-length campaign videos of the current collection. Moving content at eye level is the single most effective way to pull a shopper out of a mall corridor, and it replaced a lightbox that needed a new print for every campaign.
"Pixelspot delivered more than just an LED video wall, they brought our storefront to life. Their digital signage options are worth every penny." — Anita Zalte, Google review
