An LED wall warranty is the one line on a quotation that decides what the next two years cost you. Most quotes in Bengaluru either say "2-year warranty" and nothing more, or leave the line blank. Almost none say what happens on the Saturday evening a dark rectangle appears in the middle of your menu board: who comes, how soon, who pays for the part, the labour, the travel and the courier, and whether three dead pixels even count as a fault. This page sets out what PixelSpot's 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty covers, what it excludes, how a claim runs from WhatsApp message to whole wall, what back-to-base cover really costs in courier fees and dark days, and, in a dated table with sources, what each LED wall vendor selling in Bengaluru states in public.
The short version
| Item | PixelSpot standard warranty on every LED video wall |
|---|---|
| Term | 2 years from the commissioning date on your handover report |
| Unit of coverage | The individual pixel. One dead, stuck or dim pixel is a valid claim; there is no dead-pixel tolerance clause |
| Parts covered | LED modules, power supplies, receiving cards, hub boards, sending card or controller, the PixelOS player, cabinets, locks, connectors and internal cabling |
| Where | Onsite, at your premises, across Bengaluru and every Karnataka district, plus Hosur and Krishnagiri |
| Response | Within 24 hours anywhere in Bengaluru, usually the same day for calls before noon; district cities scheduled within the week |
| Spares | 5% spare modules from the same production batch ship with the wall, so a replacement never shows as a colour patch |
| Cost to you | Nothing. No call-out, labour, travel, parts, calibration or courier charge for a covered fault |
| After a repair | A 90-day service warranty on the work itself |
| Extension | Cover up to 5 years, quoted at purchase; an AMC from year three at about ₹150 per sq ft per year |
| Proof | A warranty certificate issued with the GST invoice; check status by invoice number on the support page |
What "pixel-to-pixel" actually means
Most LED display warranties are written at module or cabinet level and carry a tolerance: a module is only "defective" once a stated number or percentage of its LEDs has failed. The percentage looks harmless on paper. Do the arithmetic on a real wall and it is not. A 10 by 6 ft P2.5 wall is 3,048 mm by 1,829 mm, which at 2.5 mm spacing is about 1,219 by 731 pixels, roughly 8.9 lakh pixels in total. A 0.05% tolerance clause would let around 445 pixels die before the vendor owed you anything, and every one of them is a black dot to a customer reading a menu from 3 metres.
Pixel-to-pixel means the unit of coverage is the single pixel. One dead LED, one stuck-red pixel, one dim cluster in the corner: the module comes out, a batch-matched module goes in, the wall is recalibrated and the fault is closed. The same principle runs up the chain. A dead row is a ribbon cable or hub board. A dark block is a power supply. A frozen or striped section is a receiving card. A colour patch is a mismatched module or a calibration drift. All of it is inside the warranty, and none of it is argued over at claim time, because the certificate says "pixel" and not "module, subject to tolerance".
What the warranty covers, part by part
| Part | What you see when it fails | What we do | Charge in warranty |
|---|---|---|---|
| LED modules | Dead or stuck pixels, a dim patch, a colour shift on one tile | Swap in a matched module from your spare kit, recalibrate, top the kit back up | Nil |
| Power supplies | A dark rectangular block, sometimes flickering first | Replace onsite; about 30 minutes | Nil |
| Receiving cards and hub boards | A frozen, garbled or striped section; a dead row | Replace, reload the configuration, re-terminate cables | Nil |
| Sending card, controller, PixelOS player | No signal, wrong resolution, content not playing to schedule | Reflash or replace; reconnect PixelOS | Nil |
| Cabinets, locks, connectors, internal cabling | Intermittent sections, a module that drops out when touched | Re-terminate or replace the part | Nil |
| Labour, travel, calibration | — | Included across Bengaluru and Karnataka | Nil |
For scale, the same jobs out of warranty are priced on the repair page: a module ₹1,800 to ₹4,500 fitted, a power supply ₹2,500 to ₹4,000, a receiving card ₹3,000 to ₹6,000, and a diagnosis visit ₹1,500 to ₹2,500. That is what the warranty is worth each time it is used.
What it does not cover, and why
- Physical impact. A trolley into the bottom row, a scratched mask, a module dropped during a customer's own removal, vandalism. These are repairs, quoted at the out-of-warranty rates above.
- Water where it should not be. An indoor IP31 wall used outdoors, or water reaching an outdoor wall through a customer-side canopy or facade that leaks. The outdoor wall's own gaskets and seals are covered; the building's are not.
- Electrical events outside the rating. Lightning, a supply that swings far outside the 200 to 240 V the power supplies are rated for, or a reversed neutral and earth. A stabiliser and a proper earth are not a condition of cover, but they are the cheapest life extension a wall can have; the power guide explains the numbers.
- Unauthorised repair or modification. A third party opening the wall, modules mixed in from another batch, or controller firmware changed without us. Ask first; if the fix is simple we will talk your staff through it on a video call.
- Natural disasters, as in our terms.
- Wear that is not a defect. Ghosting from a static logo left at full brightness for months, or the gradual dimming every LED shows over a decade. The lifespan guide shows how to avoid both.
Every exclusion is printed on the certificate, in the same words, so nothing is negotiated at claim time.
Onsite vs back-to-base: a worked example
Take a 10 by 6 ft indoor P2.5 wall in a shop. On a Saturday at 7 pm one module goes dark, a 320 by 160 mm black tile at eye level. Here is how the same fault plays out under the two kinds of warranty sold in Bengaluru.
| Step | Onsite, pixel-to-pixel (PixelSpot) | Back-to-base (as some vendors state) |
|---|---|---|
| Report | WhatsApp photo at 7 pm Saturday; PixelOS checks the receiving card remotely the same evening | Email or call on Monday; wait for a ticket number |
| Identify and remove the part | Our engineer, within 24 hours, with a matched module in the van | You, or a local technician at ₹1,500 to ₹2,500 for the visit |
| Transit | None | Pack and courier to a service centre in another city: typically ₹400 to ₹1,200 each way for an insured 1 to 2 kg parcel, 2 to 4 days each way |
| Bench time | None; the swap takes about 15 minutes | Commonly 3 to 7 working days, and a "within tolerance" ruling can send the module back unrepaired |
| Refit | Done on the same visit, then recalibrated | A second technician visit at ₹1,500 to ₹2,500 |
| Out of pocket | ₹0 | Roughly ₹4,000 to ₹7,000 for one module event |
| Time with a hole in the wall | Under 24 hours in Bengaluru | 7 to 14 days, longer if the courier is delayed |
The rupee figures for the back-to-base column are estimates from published Bengaluru service rates and standard courier tariffs; your own numbers may differ. The shape of the result does not. Two module events and one power supply in two years is a normal life for a busy wall, so multiply. And the cost that matters most is not in the table at all: a storefront or menu wall with a black tile for a fortnight is doing the opposite of the job you bought it for.
When onsite cover is the right choice, and when back-to-base is tolerable
Insist on onsite, pixel-to-pixel terms when the wall faces customers: shopfronts, menu boards, showroom feature walls, mall entrances, reception lobbies, temple and wedding-hall screens, and any wall in a district city where a courier round trip to another state takes a week. Back-to-base cover is tolerable only for an organisation that holds its own spare modules, has a technician on staff who can open the wall safely, and can live with a dark tile for the transit period, which in practice means AV integrators and rental companies with a bench, not a shop owner. If you are being offered back-to-base cover, ask for the advance-replacement terms in writing: whether a spare is sent before yours arrives, and who pays both couriers.
How to make a claim
- Send the fault. WhatsApp a photo or a 10-second video, your invoice number and the site name to +91 72048 08334, any day of the week. The wall serial is on your certificate if you have it to hand.
- Remote diagnosis. PixelOS Signal reads the controller over the network, on NovaStar, Huidu and Linsn systems, so a failed receiving card or power supply is usually located before anyone travels.
- Engineer visit. Within 24 hours anywhere in Bengaluru. Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Belagavi, Kalaburagi and the other districts are scheduled within the week, with the likely parts in the van.
- Matched parts. Modules come from your 5% batch-matched spare kit; power supplies, cards and controllers from stock at Jalahalli East. No waiting on an import.
- Written service report. You get the fault found, the part serials replaced and the calibration done, and the spare kit is topped back up.
- 90 days on the repair. The work itself carries its own service warranty, inside or outside the 2-year term.
Your warranty certificate
A promise is only checkable when it is written down with the specifics. Every PixelSpot wall is handed over with a certificate tied to the GST invoice, and this is what it lists. The spec sheet the certificate has to match
A warranty is enforceable only against a specification, which is why the certificate repeats the numbers from your quotation. These are the five decisions that fix those numbers, and what each one means for a claim later.
| Decision | What to write down | Why it matters to the warranty |
|---|---|---|
| Pixel pitch | P1.2 to P1.8 when the nearest viewer is under 3 metres (boardrooms, reception desks); P2.5 for shops, cafes, offices and lobbies at 3 to 5 metres; P3 to P4 for halls and large storefronts; P6 to P10 for hoardings. Rule of thumb: pitch in millimetres is roughly the minimum comfortable viewing distance in metres | The certificate names the module model and batch, so every replacement is the same pitch and colour. A dead pixel is more visible the closer people stand, which is exactly where pixel-to-pixel cover earns its keep |
| Brightness | Indoor 800 to 1,200 nits; a storefront behind glass 2,500 to 4,000 nits; open-air outdoor 5,000 to 6,500 nits with auto-dimming | An indoor module driven at full brightness in a sun-facing window is misuse and shortens its life. Auto-brightness in PixelOS keeps heat down and keeps the wall inside its rating |
| IP rating | IP31 indoor; IP65 front for anything that sees rain, spray or dust | The environment is written on the certificate. Water through a failed gasket on an IP65 wall is a warranty claim; water through a leaking canopy onto an IP31 wall is not |
| Cabinet type | Die-cast aluminium front-service for walls flush to a building wall or set into a shopfront; rear-service only where there is 600 mm of access behind | Front-service means a warranty swap takes minutes from the front without touching the frame. Rear-service walls need the access kept clear, or every claim becomes a dismantling job |
| Viewing distance and power | Measure the nearest seat or pavement edge; specify a dedicated line, earth and, ideally, a stabiliser | Viewing distance sets the pitch above. Clean power keeps power-supply claims rare; they are covered either way, but nobody wants a Saturday-night call-out |
The pixel pitch guide and the viewing distance calculator turn a room measurement into a pitch; the configurator turns the pitch into a spec sheet and a price in 60 seconds.
What LED wall vendors in Bengaluru publicly state about warranty
Buyers compare us with these companies, so we read their public pages and listings and recorded exactly what each one states. Nothing here is a claim about the quality of their walls; it is a record of what is written down, on the dates shown, so you can ask the right questions.
| Company (base) | Stated warranty term | Onsite or back-to-base | Pixel-level cover, spares | Where we read it, date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PixelSpot (Jalahalli East, Bengaluru) | 2 years on every LED video wall; extension to 5 years quoted at purchase | Onsite across Bengaluru and all Karnataka, 24-hour Bengaluru response | Pixel-to-pixel, no tolerance clause; 5% batch-matched spares included | This page and the support page, 21 Sep 2026 |

| Zuper LED (Hyderabad; Banaswadi, Bengaluru) | No warranty period found on its home or services pages | Not stated | Not stated | zuperled.com, 21 Sep 2026 |
| Signageer (JP Nagar, Bengaluru) | 2 years, or 5 years with an annual maintenance contract | Not stated | Not stated | signageer website, 12 Sep 2026 |
| PixelDiode (Hyderabad; sells into Bengaluru) | 1-year service warranty | Its warranty page states that onsite support, service and maintenance are not included in the purchase price and must be arranged separately | Not stated | pixeldiode.com/product-warranty, 21 Sep 2026 |
"Not stated" does not mean there is no warranty. It means you must ask, in writing, before you pay. Three questions settle it for any vendor, including us: is service onsite at my address; is there a dead-pixel tolerance, and what is it; and who pays parts, labour, travel and courier. The wider company comparison, with addresses and published prices, is on the best LED wall company in Bangalore guide and the vendor comparison; the head-to-head with PixelDiode is here. Facts about other companies come from their public pages on the dates shown; if anything has changed, tell us at contact@pixelspot.in and we will correct it.
What the warranty adds to the price: nothing
PixelSpot's published rates already include the 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty, the 5% spare modules, installation and commissioning. Indoor P2.5 starts at ₹5,500 per sq ft, outdoor storefront walls at ₹5,000 per sq ft, and a 10 by 6 ft indoor wall from ₹3.3 lakh before GST. There is no "warranty pack" line, and there is no cheaper price with the warranty removed. Extended cover to 5 years is quoted per wall at purchase, and an AMC from about ₹150 per sq ft per year takes over from year three.
When you compare quotations, compare the installed, warranted price per square foot. A lower cabinet price with a 1-year back-to-base warranty and no spares is a different product, and the worked example above shows where the difference goes. Full bands by pitch are on the LED wall price page, and you will need the GST invoice in any case: it is the document a warranty claim is tied to, and the one that gives you input tax credit (see HSN code and GST).
Service reality in Bengaluru and across Karnataka
The warranty is only as good as the distance the engineer has to drive, which is why we say plainly where we sell and where we do not. The factory, the spares and the crew are in Jalahalli East, Bengaluru. Anywhere in the city, from Indiranagar to Electronic City to Yelahanka, an engineer reaches you within 24 hours, usually the same day for calls before noon. Every Karnataka district is served by the same crew under the same certificate, scheduled within the week, and because your batch-matched spare kit lives at your site, most module faults are closed on the first visit. Hosur and Krishnagiri, 40 to 90 km over the Tamil Nadu border, are served like our outer districts. We do not sell or service walls beyond that, because we will not put our name on a warranty we cannot honour in person.
Three installations show what the cover looks like in practice. At Acai Theory in Indiranagar, the outdoor P2.5 IP65 storefront wall uses front-serviceable modules because there is no rear access, so a warranty swap happens from the pavement without touching the frame or closing the cafe. At the Amukti store entrance, the portrait display is built into a mall pillar with the processor in the back office; PixelOS diagnoses remotely first and the visit is booked around mall hours. And at a Bengaluru corporate office, the flush front-service wall was burn-in tested at the factory before delivery, which is where infant failures in power supplies and modules are meant to be caught: on our bench, not in your town hall.
After year two
The wall does not become an orphan when the certificate expires. Spares for every module batch we have shipped stay in stock in Bengaluru, repairs are priced on the repair page and carry a 90-day service warranty, and the AMC adds scheduled cleaning, calibration, remote monitoring through PixelOS and priority response. A wall kept at sensible brightness on clean power should serve 8 to 12 years; the lifespan guide and the maintenance guide cover what wears and when. You can check any PixelSpot wall's warranty status by invoice number on the support page.
Get the terms in writing before you buy: WhatsApp your wall size and location to +91 72048 08334, or use the 60-second configurator. The quotation, the spec sheet and the warranty certificate come from the same numbers. Site survey and 3D mockup are free across Bengaluru and Karnataka.
