Zuper LED is a Hyderabad-based LED display company whose headline is "India's Only OEM LED Manufacturer With Factory in China", trading since 2012 with locations listed in Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai. PixelSpot is a Bengaluru LED video wall manufacturer that has built walls in its own facility here since 2022 and installs them with its own crew. Both quote for indoor and outdoor LED walls in Bangalore, and on a per square foot basis the two look close. This page puts the published facts side by side, then explains what a "factory in China" and a "factory in Jalahalli" each mean for a wall that has to keep working in Koramangala in 2029.

What "a factory in China" means when the wall is in Bengaluru

Zuper LED's headline is honest and worth reading twice. The diodes in every LED wall sold in India, PixelSpot's included, come from a handful of semiconductor fabs, and the SMD modules they sit on are produced on high-volume SMT lines, most of them in Guangdong. Nobody in Bengaluru or Hyderabad grows LED chips. So "OEM manufacturer with a factory in China" tells you where modules are made. It does not tell you where your wall will be assembled, aged, calibrated and kept alive for the eight to twelve years it should serve.

The factory that matters to a buyer in Bengaluru is the one holding the spares. PixelSpot populates every wall from one LED bin and one production lot, burn-in tests the cabinets in Jalahalli East, and puts 5% spare modules from that same lot on a shelf tagged with the wall's build number. When a module dies in year three, the replacement comes off that shelf and is fitted by the crew that installed the wall. A replacement that must be matched from a Shenzhen line, shipped, cleared through customs and couriered to a sales location is a different service promise, and nothing in a per square foot price shows it. Zuper LED's IndiaMART profile describes its Indian entity as a trader and retailer registered in Telangana; that is not a criticism, it is the structure you are buying into, and it is why the warranty and spares questions below matter more than the logo.

What ₹5,500 per square foot includes at PixelSpot

Zuper LED's IndiaMART listings put P4 indoor at ₹5,000 and P2.5 indoor at ₹6,500 per sq ft, which is the same neighbourhood as PixelSpot's published P2.5 rate of ₹5,500. The number alone settles nothing. What the listings do not say is whether that figure covers the controller, the mounting structure, installation, calibration, spares, GST or any warranty. Here is exactly what PixelSpot's ₹5,500 covers for an indoor P2.5 wall:

The spec decisions that matter more than the brand name

Pixel pitch and viewing distance

Pitch is the distance between LED centres in millimetres, and the rule of thumb is that the nearest comfortable viewer stands roughly as many metres away as the pitch number. P2.5 is right for a showroom or worship hall where people stand 4 m or more back; a boardroom with seats at 2 to 3 m wants P1.8 or P1.5; a mall entrance viewed from 1 to 3 m, like the Amukti store display, needs fine pitch. Outdoors, P4 suits a storefront read from 5 to 8 m, and P6 to P10 suits hoardings read from across a road. The viewing distance calculator does the arithmetic for your room.

Brightness in nits

Indoor walls run 600 to 1,500 nits and are comfortable at 30 to 50% of that in a lit office. An outdoor wall that faces afternoon sun needs 5,000 to 6,500 nits with auto-dimming so it is legible at 3 pm and not blinding at 10 pm; the Acai Theory storefront in Indiranagar is exactly that case. IP rating and cabinet type

Outdoor cabinets need IP65 on the front face and sealed rear connectors, with gaskets you can inspect yearly; indoor cabinets are not sealed and should not be priced as if they were. Die-cast aluminium front-service cabinets cost more but let a technician swap a module from the front in minutes, which is the only option in a shopfront or a wall mounted flush to a building wall. Sheet-metal rear-service cabinets are fine where there is a service corridor behind the wall. Ask which cabinet is in the quote, because the per sq ft price moves with it.

Refresh rate and controller

A wall that will be filmed, for a town hall or a stage, needs a refresh rate of 3,840 Hz or better so cameras do not see banding. Ask for the receiving card model and the sending controller by name; those two parts decide whether your staff can change content from a phone or must call a technician.

Install and service reality in Bengaluru and Karnataka
