A P2.0 LED wall costs ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 per sq ft installed, before GST, from PixelSpot's factory at Jalahalli East, Bengaluru. That makes an 8x4 ft wall ₹2.56 to ₹3.84 lakh, a 10x6 ft wall ₹4.8 to ₹7.2 lakh and a 12x8 ft wall ₹7.68 to ₹11.52 lakh. P2.0 is the odd one out in the indoor range: it is often quoted above the finer P1.8, and the reason is a module-volume quirk rather than anything about the picture. This page gives the P2.0 price by size, the full specification, the module check that protects you from paying more for fewer pixels, and the Bengaluru spaces where P2.0 is genuinely the right call. If you want the whole indoor and outdoor range on one page, see the LED wall price by pixel pitch guide.
P2.0 LED wall price per sq ft and by wall size
| Wall | Area | P2.0 resolution | Installed price, before GST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Per sq ft | 1 sq ft | 23,226 pixels | ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 |
| 8x4 ft | 32 sq ft | 1,219 x 609 (0.7 MP) | ₹2.56 to ₹3.84 lakh |
| 10x6 ft | 60 sq ft | 1,524 x 914 (1.4 MP) | ₹4.8 to ₹7.2 lakh |
| 12x8 ft | 96 sq ft | 1,829 x 1,219 (2.2 MP) | ₹7.68 to ₹11.52 lakh |
What the rate includes. LED modules, receiving cards, the controller, power supplies, the steel frame, cabling, installation by PixelSpot's own crew, PixelOS cloud CMS, 5 per cent spare modules and the 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty. Within Bengaluru the site survey, 3D mockup, delivery and installation are all inside the figure. GST at 18 per cent is added on the invoice and is claimable as input credit; the HSN code and GST page explains how.
What pushes a P2.0 quote to ₹12,000. The ₹8,000 figure is a plain wall-mounted install with a Huidu controller and rear access to the modules. The quote climbs towards ₹12,000 when the wall needs front-service die-cast cabinets because it sits flush against a plastered wall with no way to reach the back, when a NovaStar-based sending and receiving system is specified for colour calibration or multi-source switching, when the frame is curved or hung from a ceiling rather than bolted to a wall, and when the wall faces a glass frontage and needs semi-outdoor brightness. None of these change the module; they change the cabinet, electronics and fabrication around it.
P2.0 LED wall specification
| Specification | Indoor P2.0 |
|---|---|
| True pixel pitch | 2.0 mm, exactly as named (320 mm ÷ 160 pixels) |
| Module | 320 x 160 mm, 160 x 80 pixels, 12,800 LEDs per module |
| Scan rate | 1/40 |
| Pixel density | 23,226 per sq ft (250,000 per m², from (1,000 ÷ 2)²) |
| Brightness | 800 to 1,000 nits, run at a fraction of that indoors |
| Refresh rate | 3,840 Hz, camera-safe for phones and broadcast |
| Grey scale and colour temperature | 14-bit, 6,500 K factory setting |
| Minimum viewing distance | 2 m |
| Ideal viewing distance | about 4 m (twice the pitch number) |
| 8x4 ft resolution | 1,219 x 609 pixels |
| 10x6 ft resolution | 1,524 x 914 pixels |
| 12x8 ft resolution | 1,829 x 1,219 pixels |
The pitch arithmetic on P2.0 is unusually tidy. Because 320 mm divided by 160 pixels is exactly 2.0 mm, a P2.0 wall carries 500 pixels per metre of width, so the pixel count of any wall is its width in millimetres divided by two. A 10x6 ft wall is 3,048 mm wide, which is 1,524 pixels, and the table above is nothing more than that sum. The neighbouring pitches do not divide so cleanly: 320 mm over 172 pixels is 1.86 mm, and 320 mm over 128 pixels is 2.5 mm. The 12,800 LEDs per module figure is 160 multiplied by 80 and is the number a receiving card addresses on each board.
The 160 x 80 versus 172 x 86 module trap
P1.8 costs ₹7,000 to ₹12,000 per sq ft and P2.0 costs ₹8,000 to ₹12,000. Read that again: the coarser pitch has the higher entry price. The finer P1.86 module, 172 x 86 pixels on the same 320 x 160 mm board, is produced in larger volumes than the 160 x 80 P2.0 module, and on some batches that volume makes the P1.8 board the cheaper one to buy. The result is that a buyer who asks for "P2" because it sounds like a sensible middle step between P1.8 and P2.5 can end up paying more per square foot for 7 per cent fewer pixels across and a 2 m minimum distance instead of 1.8 m.
Check the module resolution on every quote before you compare prices. 160 x 80 pixels is P2.0. 172 x 86 pixels is P1.86. If a "P2" quote and a "P1.8" quote arrive within a few hundred rupees of each other per sq ft, the P1.8 is the better wall at that money.
The trap has a second layer. Some sellers round P1.86 up to "P2" on the quotation, so a document headed P2 may in fact be describing the finer module, and a document headed P1.8 may be quoting P2.0 boards at a P1.8 price. The pitch name proves nothing; the module resolution and the pixel count for the whole wall prove everything. Ask for the module resolution and the whole-wall resolution on any quotation you compare: a 10x6 ft P2.0 wall reads 1,524 x 914 and a 10x6 ft P1.8 wall reads 1,638 x 983.
When P2.0 makes sense
- The batch price favours it. The overlap runs both ways. When the P2.0 board is the one in stock at the lower figure, an 8x4 ft P2.0 wall at ₹2.56 lakh is a better buy than waiting for P1.8 modules, because the difference in the picture from 2 m is small and the difference from 4 m is nil.
- You are extending or repairing an existing P2.0 wall. Modules are not interchangeable across pitches. A wall built with 160 x 80 boards must be extended with 160 x 80 boards, or the new section will have a different dot structure and a different pixel map in the controller. PixelSpot stocks P2.0 spares in Bengaluru for exactly this reason.
- The Full HD threshold falls at your size. An 8x4 ft P2.5 wall is 975 pixels wide, below the roughly 1,200 pixels at which a Full HD video shows without visible softening from 2.5 m. An 8x4 ft P2.0 wall is 1,219 pixels wide, just over the line. If the opening is fixed at 8x4 ft and the content is a spreadsheet or a dashboard, P2.0 is the cheapest pitch that clears it when P1.8 stock is priced above it.
- The pixel map has to match the signal. A 12x8 ft P2.0 wall is 1,829 x 1,219 pixels, close to the 1,920 x 1,080 of a Full HD source, so the scaler does almost no work and text edges stay clean. For a studio or a control-room preview wall fed at Full HD, that near one-to-one mapping is worth specifying.
Is P2.0 right for your space?
The viewing rule is simple: the minimum comfortable distance in metres is about the pitch number, and the picture looks best from about twice that. For P2.0 that is 2 m minimum and roughly 4 m ideal. Stand where the nearest regular viewer stands, not at the back of the room, and measure to the wall. If that tape reads under 1.8 m, step finer. If it reads 2.5 m or more, step coarser and keep the money. The viewing distance calculator does the same arithmetic for any pitch and size. Here is how it plays out in the spaces PixelSpot is most often asked to fit a P2.0 wall in Bengaluru.
Where P2.0 fits
- Tech-park reception on Outer Ring Road or in Whitefield. A 10x6 ft wall behind the front desk with the visitor standing at the counter about 2 m away. The brand film and the visitor welcome sit at the P2.0 minimum, and 1,524 x 914 pixels keeps a company name sharp at that range. See the office lobby page.
- Boardroom or training room with the front row at 2 to 3 m. A 10x6 ft P2.0 wall shows a spreadsheet or a Full HD slide deck with room to spare; the conference room guide covers the mounting height. If chairs sit closer than 1.8 m, P1.5 or P1.2 is the right step.
- Cafe or quick-service counter in Koramangala or Indiranagar. The customer placing an order stands about 2 m from the wall behind the counter, inside the 2.5 m minimum for P2.5, so a menu wall that doubles as the counter backdrop needs P2.0 or P1.8 rather than the cheaper pitch. An 8x4 ft P2.0 wall at ₹2.56 lakh does it when P2.0 is the cheaper batch; a menu read only from a queue at 3 m or more can drop to P2.5. The restaurant page has layouts.
- Hospital OPD waiting hall. Token numbers and doctor rosters read from the first row of seats at 2 to 4 m, squarely inside the P2.0 comfortable band. Details on the hospital page.
- Podcast set or in-house studio filmed at 2 to 4 m. The camera sits inside the ideal band, the 3,840 Hz refresh keeps the backdrop flicker-free on video, and the near one-to-one Full HD mapping at 12x8 ft avoids scaling artefacts on a wide shot.
- Jewellery showroom counter in Jayanagar or Chickpete. The customer stands at the glass about 2 m from the wall. P1.8 is the usual pick here, as at the Amukti store entrance, but P2.0 is the right substitute when it is the cheaper batch. The jewellery store page has more.
When to step finer or coarser
Step finer to P1.8 whenever the tape reads under 2 m and the P1.8 quote is at or below the P2.0 quote, which is often. Step to P1.5 at ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 per sq ft when people sit at a table in front of the wall, as in a control room or a boardroom where the nearest chair is 1.5 m from the screen. Step coarser to P2.5 at ₹5,500 to ₹8,000 per sq ft whenever the nearest viewer is 2.5 m or further, which describes a car showroom feature wall seen from the floor, a temple or church stage, a wedding hall and most event backdrops. From 4 m the two are indistinguishable, and the 10x6 ft row of the comparison table below shows what the step saves. The corporate cafeteria wall we built in Bengaluru was pitched from the nearest seat in exactly this way.
P2.0 vs P1.8 vs P2.5
| Spec | P1.8 (1.86 mm) | P2.0 (2.0 mm) | P2.5 (2.5 mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Module resolution, 320 x 160 mm | 172 x 86 px | 160 x 80 px | 128 x 64 px |
| Pixels per sq ft | 26,854 | 23,226 | 14,864 |
| Scan rate | 1/43 | 1/40 | 1/32 |
| Refresh rate | 3,840 Hz | 3,840 Hz | 3,840 Hz |
| Brightness | 800 to 1,000 nits | 800 to 1,000 nits | 800 to 1,200 nits |
| Minimum viewing distance | 1.8 m | 2 m | 2.5 m |
| 8x4 ft resolution | 1,310 x 655 | 1,219 x 609 | 975 x 487 |
| 10x6 ft resolution | 1,638 x 983 | 1,524 x 914 | 1,219 x 731 |
| 12x8 ft resolution | 1,966 x 1,310 | 1,829 x 1,219 | 1,463 x 975 |
| Per sq ft installed | ₹7,000 to ₹12,000 | ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 | ₹5,500 to ₹8,000 |
| 10x6 ft wall, before GST | ₹4.2 to ₹7.2 lakh | ₹4.8 to ₹7.2 lakh | ₹3.3 to ₹4.8 lakh |
Read across the 10x6 ft row and the shape of the decision is clear. P2.0 carries 56 per cent more pixels per square foot than P2.5 for ₹1.5 lakh more at the entry price on that size; P1.8 carries 16 per cent more pixels than P2.0 for ₹60,000 less at the entry price. So P2.0 is never the pitch to choose on paper; it is the pitch to choose when the batch makes it the cheaper board, when you are matching an existing wall, or when the 1,200-pixel threshold at 8x4 ft matters and the P1.8 quote has come in higher. Everything else about the three modules, the 3,840 Hz refresh, the 14-bit grey scale and the 6,500 K white point, is the same.
What a P2.0 wall from PixelSpot includes
- Modules and spares. 320 x 160 mm P2.0 modules at 160 x 80 pixels, 3,840 Hz, 14-bit grey scale, with 5 per cent spare modules handed over at installation so a swap never waits on a shipment.
- Frame or cabinets. A steel frame for a wall-mounted install at the lower figure, or front-service die-cast cabinets with magnetic modules where there is no rear access. Curved, portrait and ceiling-hung frames are fabricated at the Jalahalli East factory and priced after the free survey.
- Controller. Huidu at the entry price, or a NovaStar sending card and receiving cards where calibration, redundancy or multiple inputs are needed. Ask for the controller model on the quotation so quotes can be compared like for like.
- Power and cabling. Power supplies, receiving cards, data and power looms, and the connection to the site's power; the free site visit confirms power and access.
- PixelOS. The cloud CMS for scheduling and switching content from a phone or laptop, included with every wall.
- Crew. Installation by PixelSpot's own crew, working out of the Jalahalli East factory where the wall is built.
- Warranty and service. 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty, 24-hour service response in Bengaluru, module swaps from ₹1,800 after the warranty and an AMC from ₹150 per sq ft per year. See the warranty page.
- Karnataka installs. The same per sq ft rate applies from Mysuru and Mangaluru to Hubballi, Belagavi and Kalaburagi, with freight and crew travel shown as separate lines; Hosur and Krishnagiri are served as Bengaluru neighbours. See LED wall Bengaluru and LED walls across Karnataka.
How to get a P2.0 quote
- Measure the opening and the distance to the nearest regular viewer. If it is under 2 m, ask for both P2.0 and P1.8 pricing on the same sheet.
- Use the 60-second LED wall configurator for an instant estimate with GST, spec sheet and BOM, or send the size and a photo of the wall on WhatsApp, +91 72048 08334.
- Book the free site visit. We confirm the pitch, check power and access, and send a 3D mockup of the wall in your space with a fixed quotation. Then run the module check above on it and on any competing quote.
