P6 LED Wall Price in Bengaluru: ₹3,500 to ₹6,000 per sq ft, installed

A P6 LED wall costs ₹3,500 to ₹6,000 per sq ft installed, before GST, from PixelSpot's factory in Bengaluru. That is ₹1.12 to ₹1.92 lakh for an 8x4 ft wall, ₹2.1 to ₹3.6 lakh for 10x6 ft and ₹3.36 to ₹5.76 lakh for 12x8 ft. The P6 we build is an outdoor module: IP65 at the front, IP54 at the rear, 5,500 to 6,500 nits with auto-dimming after dark, made for a building facade, a rooftop sign, a gantry or a hoarding that people read from 6 m and further. It is the coarsest pitch we recommend for a wall that still has to carry a logo and a phone number cleanly, and the first pitch where the per sq ft rate drops low enough to make a very large surface affordable. The rate includes the modules, receiving cards, controller, power supplies, steel frame, cabling, installation by our own crew, PixelOS, 5 per cent spare modules and the 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty. P6 LED wall price by size, before GST

The lower figure is a plain wall-mounted or fascia install with a Huidu controller. The quote moves towards ₹6,000 per sq ft when the wall needs front-service die-cast cabinets (a facade panel flush against the building with no walkway behind it), a NovaStar-based sending and receiving system, a curved or ceiling-hung frame, or a freestanding pole, rooftop truss or gantry structure, which is quoted as a separate line after the free site survey. Municipal permission drawings, where the landlord or the BBMP asks for them, are also a separate line. The 8x4 and 10x6 ft totals in the table are arithmetic rather than advice: a P6 wall is built from whole 192 mm modules, the pixel count scales with the width, and below about 100 sq ft outdoors we usually quote P4 or P3 instead, because a small P6 surface has too few pixels to draw a logo without visible steps. P6 earns its rate on hoardings and facades of roughly 200 sq ft and more, where the same budget in P4 would buy a much smaller screen.

P6 outdoor specification

Two lines on that sheet decide whether a "P6" quote from anyone is the same product as ours. The first is the module: 32 x 32 pixels on a 192 x 192 mm board. The finer outdoor module on the same board size is P3 at 64 x 64 pixels, while the 320 x 160 mm board family carries P5 at 64 x 32 and P8 at 40 x 20, so the module resolution cannot be fudged. The second is the scan rate: 1/8 on P6 means each LED is lit for a long slice of every cycle, which is how the module holds 6,500 nits against a west-facing Bengaluru sun and still dims cleanly after dark. Is P6 right for your wall?

Apply the viewing rule from the viewing distance calculator: the minimum comfortable distance in metres is roughly the pitch number, and the picture looks best from about twice that. For P6 that is 6 m minimum and about 12 m ideal. Measure from the wall to where the nearest regular viewer actually stands or drives, not to the edge of the plot. If that measurement is 6 m or more, P6 is the right pitch and paying for a finer one buys pixels nobody can resolve. If it is under 6 m, step finer. Typical P6 walls we survey in and around Bengaluru:

• Building facade on an arterial road. A screen on the front of a commercial block on Outer Ring Road, Hosur Road or Bannerghatta Road, read by people across the carriageway and by traffic slowing at the signal. Reading distance is 12 m and more, well past the P6 ideal.
• Rooftop or parapet sign on a showroom. A car or two-wheeler dealership on a highway stretch towards Tumakuru or Mysuru, with the sign lifted above the canopy and read from the approach at 12 to 30 m. See the car showroom page for the indoor counterpart.
• Mall or commercial-complex exterior above the entrance. Read from the forecourt and the drop-off lane at 6 to 12 m, with pedestrians never closer than the canopy edge.
• Temple, church or community-hall facade. A festival-season display facing the courtyard, read from the queue line and the road at 6 m and beyond. The temple page and church page cover the indoor walls; the outdoor facade at these sites is usually P6.
• College ground, sports complex or stadium screen. A scoreboard or replay screen read from the stands and the running track at 12 to 30 m, where a P6 surface of 200 sq ft and more is far cheaper than the same area in P4. The college page has the campus context.
• Tech-park or industrial-estate gate display. A welcome and wayfinding screen at the campus entrance in Whitefield, Electronic City or Peenya, read from vehicles on the approach lane at 6 to 12 m.
• Roadside LED hoarding on a gantry or pole. The classic use: an advertising surface on a highway median or a junction, read from moving vehicles at 12 to 30 m, sold by the slot through the DOOH marketplace.

When to step finer

If pedestrians pass within 6 m of the wall, or the content includes a menu, a price list or any text smaller than a shop name, move to P5 for a nearest viewer at 5 m, or to P4, the shopfront standard, for a pavement read at 4 m. P3 at 3 m is for a fascia people read while walking up to the door. The extreme case is the Acai Theory shopfront in Indiranagar, where customers read a menu from 3 to 5 m and the answer was an outdoor P2.5, not a hoarding pitch at all.

When to step coarser

If the nearest viewer is 8 m or more away and the surface is a large hoarding, P8 at ₹2,500 to ₹4,500 per sq ft reads identically from that distance and saves money on every square foot. P10 sits in the same price band for a wall read from 10 m and more. Between P6 and P8 the decision is usually about the smallest element in the artwork: a phone number in a footer strip survives on P6 at 12 m and may break up on P8 unless the wall is very large.

P6 vs P5 vs P8: the neighbouring pitches

P5 and P6 share a scan rate and a brightness band, so the choice between them is purely the nearest viewer: 5 m or 6 m. On a 12x8 ft wall P6 is cheaper at both ends of the range, and the pixel difference is invisible from 12 m. Against P8 the saving is larger, but P8 drops to a 1/5 scan and 457 x 304 pixels at 12x8 ft, which is a hoarding resolution: good for a brand mark and a slogan, poor for anything with a face or a line of body text. If your artwork is a photograph or a video with people in it, stay at P6. What a P6 wall from PixelSpot includes

Resolution and content on a P6 wall

A 12x8 ft P6 wall is 609 x 406 pixels. That is not Full HD, which is 1,920 x 1,080, and no P6 wall of shopfront size can be: the 1,200 px width at which a Full HD video shows without softening is reached only on a facade of hoarding scale. In practice this does not matter, because at 12 m the eye cannot resolve individual pixels on a P6 wall anyway, and the controller downscales a Full HD file cleanly. What matters is the artwork. Brief your designer for a P6 surface the way you would brief a printed hoarding: one message per slide, a logo that fills a large share of the height, a phone number in a single bold weight, no thin rules, no drop shadows and no body text. Photographs and video work well on P6 as long as the subject is large in the frame. Test the artwork on the wall at night as well as at noon, because auto-dimming changes how saturated colours read, and PixelOS lets you keep a day set and a night set.

1. Measure the facade or hoarding opening and the distance to where the nearest regular viewer stands or drives. That confirms P6, or tells you to step to P5 or P8.
