P5 LED Wall Price in Bengaluru: ₹4,000 to ₹6,500 per sq ft, installed

A P5 LED wall costs ₹4,000 to ₹6,500 per sq ft installed, before GST, from PixelSpot's factory in Jalahalli East, Bengaluru. That is ₹1.28 to ₹2.08 lakh for an 8x4 ft wall, ₹2.4 to ₹3.9 lakh for 10x6 ft and ₹3.84 to ₹6.24 lakh for 12x8 ft. P5 is the value outdoor pitch: an IP65 module at 5,500 to 6,500 nits that is read comfortably from 5 m and looks its best from about 10 m, which is exactly the distance at which a building facade, a petrol pump forecourt, a school compound wall or a temple courtyard screen is actually seen. Where a shopfront on a narrow pavement needs P4, and a hoarding read from across a flyover can drop to P6, P5 sits between them for the wall that is bigger than a shop sign and closer than a hoarding. The rate includes LED modules, receiving cards, the controller, power supplies, the steel frame, cabling, installation by our own crew, PixelOS cloud CMS, 5 per cent spare modules and the 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty. P5 LED wall price by size, before GST

The lower figure is a flat, wall-mounted or fascia-mounted install with a Huidu controller, which is the right specification for most petrol pumps, school gates and temple courtyards. The quote moves towards ₹6,500 per sq ft when the wall needs front-service die-cast cabinets because there is no access behind it, which is the case on a finished facade or a canopy fascia; when a NovaStar sending card and receiving cards are specified for a wall that will be filmed or fed from a broadcast mixer; when the frame is curved, portrait, ceiling-hung under a canopy or wrapped around a column; and when a west-facing wall on an open road needs the top of the 6,500 nits range. A freestanding pole or gantry structure and any municipal signage drawings are quoted as separate lines after the free site survey, so the per sq ft rate is not inflated by them. Across Karnataka the rate is unchanged and the quote adds freight and crew travel as separate lines. The 8x4 and 10x6 resolutions above are scaled from the built 12x8 figure; a real wall rounds to whole 320 x 160 mm modules, so the delivered count sits within one module of these.

P5 outdoor specification

Two of those lines deserve a second look before you sign a quote. The 1/8 scan is lower than the 1/10 of P4, which means a larger share of the module is lit at any instant, so brightness is easier to hold and the driver ICs run cooler on a canopy fascia in afternoon sun. The refresh figure matters more than it looks: 1,920 Hz outdoor panels are cheaper and appear identical to the eye, but they flicker on phone cameras, and a school annual day, a temple festival or a petrol pump opening is filmed on dozens of phones. Specify 3,840 Hz and ask for it in writing.

Is P5 the right pitch for your wall

The viewing rule is simple: the minimum comfortable distance in metres is roughly the pitch number, and the picture looks best from about twice that. For P5 that is 5 m minimum and about 10 m ideal. Measure where the nearest regular viewer stands, not the occasional passer-by who walks up to the wall, and not the size of the site. If that person is 5 m or further away, P5 is the pitch that gives the most wall for the money. These are the Bengaluru sites where the measurement comes out that way.

• Petrol pump forecourt. A fascia above the dispensers or a board at the entry off the road. The nearest regular reader is a driver at the pump island, already beyond 5 m; the rest read it from the carriageway, at or beyond the 10 m ideal. Fuel price, a car-wash offer and a loyalty promotion in large type fit comfortably on a 10x6 ft wall at 609 x 365 pixels.
• School compound wall and assembly ground. A screen on the gate wall for parents and pick-up queues, or on the ground-facing wall for assembly, sports day and annual day. Children stand in rows across the ground, far beyond 10 m, so a 12x8 ft P5 is the sensible size. The school LED wall page covers timetables, content and power.
• Temple courtyard and gopuram-side screen. A relay of the sanctum for the darshan queue and the festival crowd on the street outside. The queue starts several metres from any wall and the crowd is deeper still, which is why P5 rather than indoor P2.5 is the usual answer outdoors; the temple page has the layouts we have built.
• Building facade on an arterial road. A commercial or hospital building on Outer Ring Road, Hosur Road or Old Airport Road where the audience is across the carriageway. Nobody stands within 5 m of a first-floor facade, so a finer pitch pays for pixels no one can resolve; a 12x8 ft P5 at 731 x 487 pixels draws a logo, a brand film and a phone number cleanly from the far kerb.
• Apartment clubhouse lawn and amphitheatre. A gated community screen for cricket nights, film evenings and the Ganesha or Diwali programme, watched from lawn seating that begins beyond 5 m from the wall.
• Kalyana mantapa outer wall and open lawn. A wedding hall screen facing the car park and lawn so guests see the muhurtham live and the couple's film from the approach. The wedding hall page covers the indoor stage wall, which is a P2.5 job.
• College sports ground. A scoreboard and replay screen read from the stands and the boundary, where the whole audience sits beyond the 10 m ideal.

Step finer when the nearest regular reader is inside 5 m. A shopfront read from the pavement is the classic case and wants outdoor P4, comfortable from 4 m, at ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per sq ft. Between 3 and 4 m, on a narrow-pavement shopfront, it is outdoor P3 at ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 per sq ft; inside 3 m, or for a text-dense menu read from 3 to 5 m, it is the outdoor P2.5 we fitted at Acai Theory in Indiranagar. Step coarser when the whole audience is 6 m or further away and the wall is large: outdoor P6 at ₹3,500 to ₹6,000 per sq ft is comfortable from 6 m, and P8 and P10 at ₹2,500 to ₹4,500 per sq ft are LED hoarding pitches read from 8 m and 10 m and beyond. Do not take the coarser pitch on a small wall: a 12x8 ft P10 is only 365 x 243 pixels and cannot draw a logo cleanly, while the same wall in P5 has 731 x 487.

P5 vs P4 vs P6: the outdoor comparison

Nearly every outdoor buyer in Bengaluru who is not putting up a hoarding ends up choosing between these three. Here they are side by side, with the 12x8 ft resolution because that is the size at which the difference is easiest to see.

Read the table from the distance column. P4 and P5 share the same 320 x 160 mm module and the same cabinet family, so the frame, the crew days and the controller are identical; the whole difference is pixel count, and on a 10x6 ft wall that is the gap between ₹3 lakh and ₹2.4 lakh at the entry price. From 10 m the two are indistinguishable. From 4 m the P5 shows its dot structure and small type breaks up, so a shopfront on a pavement is a P4 job. P6 uses a different 192 x 192 mm module and a coarser cabinet grid, saves a little more per square foot and gives up roughly a third of the pixels of P5 at the same size; it earns its place on a wide hoarding, not on a school gate. If your site has both a close reader and a far one, for instance a petrol pump with a fascia read from the pumps and a pylon read from the highway, the honest answer is two walls at two pitches, and the free survey will say so.
