An outdoor P3 module: 64 x 64 pixels on a 192 x 192 mm board, 3 mm between LED centres, IP65 sealed at the front

A P3 LED wall costs ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 per sq ft installed, before GST, from PixelSpot's factory in Bengaluru. That is ₹2.56 to ₹3.84 lakh for an 8x4 ft wall, ₹4.8 to ₹7.2 lakh for 10x6 ft and ₹7.68 to ₹11.52 lakh for 12x8 ft. The P3 we build is an outdoor module: IP65 at the front, IP54 at the rear, 5,000 nits, made for a shopfront, fascia or gate that people read from about 3 m. If you searched for an indoor P3, read the section below before you ask for a quote, because we will send you a P2.5 quotation instead, and we explain why. The rate includes the modules, receiving cards, controller, power supplies, steel frame, cabling, installation by our own crew, PixelOS cloud CMS, 5 per cent spare modules and the 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty. GST at 18 per cent is extra and the input credit is explained on the HSN and GST page.

The lower figure is a plain wall-mounted or fascia install with a Huidu controller. The quote moves towards ₹12,000 per sq ft when the wall needs front-service die-cast cabinets (a fascia flush against the building with no rear access, which is most Bengaluru shopfronts), a NovaStar-based sending and receiving system, a curved or ceiling-hung frame, or a freestanding pole or gantry structure, which is quoted as a separate line after the free site survey. Municipal permission drawings, where the landlord or the BBMP asks for them, are also a separate line. A P3 wall is built from 192 x 192 mm modules, so real walls round to whole modules and cabinets; the pixel count of an 8x4 or 10x6 ft wall follows the same rule as the 12x8 figure above and is stated module-exact on every PixelSpot quotation.

Two lines on that sheet decide whether a "P3" quote from anyone is the same product as ours. The first is the module: 64 x 64 pixels on a 192 x 192 mm board. A coarser outdoor module on the same board size is P6 at 32 x 32 pixels, and a 320 x 160 mm board carries P4 at 80 x 40 or P5 at 64 x 32, so the module resolution cannot be fudged. The second is the scan rate: 1/16 on P3 means each LED is lit for a longer slice of each cycle than the 1/32 of an indoor P2.5, which is part of how an outdoor module holds 5,000 nits in direct Bengaluru sun and still dims cleanly after dark.

Why PixelSpot does not sell an indoor P3

Most people who search "P3 LED wall" in Bengaluru mean an indoor screen for a showroom, a restaurant or a hall, and they have seen P3 offered as the cheap step below P2.5. We do not build one, and it is worth being straight about the reason. Once the frame, controller, power supplies, cabling and the crew's time on site are the same, the module saving between an indoor P3 and a P2.5 is small. So an indoor P3 request to us comes back as a P2.5 quote at ₹5,500 per sq ft with 44 per cent more pixels: 128 x 64 pixels on a 320 x 160 mm module, 14,864 pixels per sq ft, comfortable from 2.5 m instead of 3 m, and 975 x 487 pixels on an 8x4 ft wall rising to 1,463 x 975 on 12x8 ft. An indoor P2.5 is 800 to 1,200 nits, which is the right brightness for a room; an outdoor P3 run indoors is 5,000 nits and too bright even at its minimum setting, in a cabinet built for weather rather than for a finished interior. The older P2.5 vs P3 comparison works through a 10x6 ft example with both as indoor pitches; the indoor P3 it prices there is the request we now answer with the P2.5 quote above, not the outdoor P3 on this page.

The same logic explains the "indoor P4" seen elsewhere at about ₹3,000 per sq ft: it is outdoor-grade P4 run indoors, coarse from 3 m, and a 10x6 ft wall comes to only 762 x 457 pixels. If a quote for an indoor P3 or P4 lands on your desk, ask for the module resolution and the nits before comparing it with a P2.5 figure.

P3.91 and the rental cabinets are a different product

P3.91, along with P2.6, P2.9 and P4.81, is a rental-series pitch built into 500 x 500 mm cabinets that lock together for a stage or an exhibition and come down again the next day. They are not the fixed-install P3 on this page. PixelSpot's rental stock is on the LED wall rental page from ₹15,000 a day; a P3.91 enquiry for a permanent shopfront is served by outdoor P4 or P3 from the fixed-install range, and we do not quote rental-cabinet prices as if they were a permanent wall.

Is P3 right for your wall

The rule is simple: the minimum comfortable viewing distance in metres is about the pitch number, and the picture looks best from roughly twice that. For P3 that is 3 m minimum and about 6 m ideal. Measure from where the nearest regular viewer stands, not from the kerb. Outdoor P3 earns its premium over P4 when people read the screen from the pavement directly in front of the shop, and it is wasted when the nearest viewer is across the road. Typical Bengaluru cases where P3 is the right answer:

When to step finer or coarser

Step finer to P2.5 when the nearest viewer is inside 3 m, for example a menu read at the counter window or a display inside a glass shopfront, where the indoor P2.5 at ₹5,500 to ₹8,000 per sq ft is both cheaper and sharper. Step coarser to outdoor P4, the storefront standard at ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per sq ft, when the first viewer stands 4 m or further, which is any shop with a wide pavement, a parking apron or a service road in front. Go to P5 or P6 only for a large facade read from 5 to 6 m and beyond, and to the hoarding pitches P8 and P10 for large displays read from 8 to 10 m and beyond.

P3 vs P2.5 and P4

These are the two pitches a P3 enquiry in Bengaluru ends up choosing between: the indoor P2.5 that replaces an indoor P3 request, and the outdoor P4 that most shopfronts settle on.

The reading of that table is that P3 is the most expensive of the three per square foot, because the sealed 192 x 192 mm module packs more LEDs and drivers than P4 while still carrying the outdoor cabinet, weatherproofing and 5,000 nits that an indoor P2.5 does not need. So P3 is a considered choice, not a default: buy it when the wall is outside and the reader is close. On a 10x6 ft shopfront the step from P4 to P3 is the gap between ₹3 lakh and ₹4.8 lakh at the entry price, and from about 8 m, the ideal distance for P4, the two look the same.

What a P3 wall from PixelSpot includes

For a shopfront that does not need a custom size, the Titan 32 and Titan 63 are our ready-made outdoor P3 units; a custom wall at the sizes above is quoted through the configurator or on WhatsApp.

How to get an exact P3 price

  1. Measure the fascia or wall opening and the distance to the nearest regular viewer. If that distance is under 3 m, tell us; the answer may be outdoor P2.5. If it is over 4 m, the answer is probably P4 and cheaper.
  2. Use the 60-second LED wall configurator for an instant estimate with GST, spec sheet and BOM, or WhatsApp +91 72048 08334 with the size, a photo of the shopfront and whether the screen faces west.
  3. Book the free site visit. We confirm the pitch on the pavement, check the power and the mounting, and send a 3D mockup of the wall on your actual building with a fixed quotation.

The LED wall price guide covers inclusions in more depth, the price by pixel pitch page lists every indoor and outdoor pitch side by side, and the size pages give worked totals for 8x4 ft, 10x6 ft and 12x8 ft walls.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the P3 LED wall price per sq ft in Bengaluru?

Outdoor P3 is ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 per sq ft installed, before GST, from PixelSpot's Bengaluru factory. That is ₹2.56 to ₹3.84 lakh for an 8x4 ft wall, ₹4.8 to ₹7.2 lakh for 10x6 ft and ₹7.68 to ₹11.52 lakh for 12x8 ft, including the frame, controller, installation, PixelOS, 5 per cent spare modules and the 2-year onsite warranty. GST at 18 per cent is extra.

What is the viewing distance for a P3 LED screen?

The minimum comfortable distance is about 3 m and the picture looks best from about 6 m. Closer than 3 m the individual LEDs become visible; beyond about 8 m a P4 wall looks the same and costs less. Measure from where the nearest regular viewer stands, which on a Bengaluru shopfront is usually the pavement.

Is a P3 LED wall Full HD?

Full HD is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. A 12x8 ft P3 wall is 1,219 x 812 pixels, so it is above the roughly 1,200 pixel width at which Full HD video shows without visible softening from normal viewing distance. Smaller P3 walls scale with their width and are fine for menus, logos and promo video; a spreadsheet-style layout needs a finer pitch.

Does PixelSpot sell an indoor P3 LED wall?

No. An indoor P3 request is quoted as an indoor P2.5 at ₹5,500 per sq ft with 44 per cent more pixels, because once the frame, controller and installation are the same the module saving is small and the P2.5 picture is far better from 2.5 m. The P3 on this page is an outdoor module at 5,000 nits with IP65 protection, which is too bright for a room.

P3 vs P4 outdoor LED wall: which should I buy?

Buy P3 when the nearest reader stands 3 to 4 m from the wall, such as a narrow-pavement shopfront or a street-facing menu. Buy P4, at ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per sq ft, when the first viewer is 4 m or further, which is most shopfronts with a wide pavement or a parking apron. On a 10x6 ft wall that is ₹3 lakh against ₹4.8 lakh at the entry price, and from about 8 m the two are indistinguishable.

How long do delivery and installation take in Bengaluru?

PixelSpot builds the wall at its own Jalahalli East factory, so the modules, cabinets and frame are assembled and burn-in tested locally rather than shipped from another state, and the same crew installs them. The free site visit fixes the mounting and power, after which the quotation states the delivery and installation schedule for your wall. Ask on WhatsApp at +91 72048 08334 for the current lead time on P3.
