P4 LED Wall Price in Bengaluru: ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per sq ft, installed

A P4 LED wall costs ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per sq ft installed, before GST, from PixelSpot's factory in Bengaluru. That is ₹1.6 to ₹2.56 lakh for an 8x4 ft wall, ₹3 to ₹4.8 lakh for 10x6 ft and ₹4.8 to ₹7.68 lakh for 12x8 ft. P4 is the storefront standard: the outdoor pitch that most Bengaluru shopfronts, forecourts and gates settle on, because it is read from the pavement at 4 m and beyond, holds 5,000 to 6,500 nits in direct sun, and costs less per square foot than the finer outdoor P3 while drawing a logo, a menu or a promo reel cleanly at that distance. If you searched for an indoor P4, read the section on the "indoor P4" trap before you compare quotes, because the cheap indoor P4 offered elsewhere is this outdoor module run inside a room. The rate includes the modules, receiving cards, controller, power supplies, steel frame, cabling, installation by our own crew, PixelOS cloud CMS, 5 per cent spare modules and the 2-year pixel-to-pixel onsite warranty. P4 LED wall price by size, before GST

The lower figure, ₹5,000 per sq ft, is a plain wall-mounted or fascia install with a Huidu controller: the shop sign above the door, the wall beside the gate, the panel on the forecourt canopy. The quote moves towards ₹8,000 per sq ft when the wall needs front-service die-cast cabinets (a fascia flush against the building with no rear access, which describes most Bengaluru shopfronts on a main road), a NovaStar-based sending and receiving system, a curved or ceiling-hung frame, or the top of the brightness band for a west-facing wall that takes the afternoon sun. A freestanding pole or gantry structure, and municipal permission drawings where the landlord or the BBMP asks for them, are quoted as separate lines after the free site survey so you can see them. P4 walls are built from 320 x 160 mm modules, so a real wall rounds to whole modules and cabinets; the resolution figures above follow the rule of wall width in millimetres divided by the 4 mm pitch, and the module-exact pixel count is stated on every PixelSpot quotation.

P4 outdoor specification

Two lines on that sheet tell you whether a "P4" quote from anyone is the same product as ours. The first is the module: 80 x 40 pixels on a 320 x 160 mm board. The same board carries P5 at 64 x 32 pixels, P8 at 40 x 20 and P10 at 32 x 16, so a coarser module sold under the P4 name shows up the moment you ask for the module resolution. The second is the scan rate. At 1/10, each LED on a P4 module is lit for a tenth of every cycle, a far longer slice than the 1/32 of an indoor P2.5, and that is part of how an outdoor module holds 5,000 nits or more at midday on a Bengaluru main road and still dims cleanly after dark without the picture greying out. Ask for the nits figure too: a module that cannot reach 5,000 nits washes out on a west-facing fascia between three and six in the afternoon, which is exactly when a shop wants to be seen.

The "indoor P4" trap

PixelSpot does not sell an indoor P4, and neither, in practice, does anyone else. The "indoor P4" seen elsewhere at about ₹3,000 per sq ft is an outdoor-grade P4 module run indoors. Three things go wrong. It is too bright: an outdoor module is built for 5,000 to 6,500 nits and is uncomfortable in a room even at its minimum setting, where an indoor P2.5 runs at 800 to 1,200 nits. It is coarse: comfortable viewing starts at 4 m, so anyone standing at a counter or walking through a showroom at 3 m sees the dot structure. And it is low in resolution: with only 80 x 40 pixels per module, a 10x6 ft wall comes to 762 x 457 pixels, where the same 10x6 ft in indoor P2.5 gives 1,219 x 731 pixels from a 128 x 64 pixel module, 14,864 pixels per sq ft, comfortable from 2.5 m. Once the frame, controller, power supplies, cabling and the crew's time on site are the same, the module saving between an outdoor P4 run indoors and a proper indoor P2.5 is small, so an indoor request at this pitch comes back from us as a P2.5 quote at ₹5,500 per sq ft. If an indoor P4 quote lands on your desk, ask for the module resolution and the nits before you compare it with a P2.5 figure; the two numbers settle the question in a minute.

P4.81 and the rental cabinets are a different product

P4.81, along with P2.6, P2.9 and P3.91, is a rental-series pitch built into 500 x 500 mm cabinets that lock together for a stage, an exhibition stand or a wedding backdrop and come down again the next day. Those cabinets are not the fixed-install P4 on this page: the pitch is different, the module is different and the cabinet is built to be carried, not to sit on a fascia in the monsoon. Is P4 right for your shopfront

The rule is simple: the minimum comfortable viewing distance in metres is about the pitch number, and the picture looks best from roughly twice that. For P4 that is 4 m minimum and about 8 m ideal. Measure from where the nearest regular viewer stands, not from the kerb and not from the far side of the road. On most Bengaluru shopfronts that is a pedestrian on the pavement, a rider stopped at the signal or a customer parking on the apron, all of whom are 4 m or further from the fascia, which is why P4 is the storefront standard rather than P3. Typical cases where P4 is the right answer:

• Shop fascia on 100 Feet Road, Indiranagar, or 80 Feet Road, Koramangala. A wide pavement and a parking lane put the reader 4 to 8 m from the sign. An 8x4 ft P4 at ₹1.6 to ₹2.56 lakh sits above the door and shows the logo and the day's offer; a 10x6 ft P4 at ₹3 to ₹4.8 lakh fills the fascia with a promo reel.
• Supermarket or electronics store frontage on Bannerghatta Road or Kanakapura Road. Customers read the screen from the parking apron at 6 to 10 m while they lock the car. A 12x8 ft P4 at ₹4.8 to ₹7.68 lakh, 914 x 609 pixels, holds three or four offers legibly at that distance.
• Petrol pump forecourt on Hosur Road or the Outer Ring Road. Drivers read prices and offers from the pump island at 5 to 10 m; the auto-dimming matters because the forecourt is lit all night.
• Car or two-wheeler showroom forecourt in Whitefield or on Old Madras Road. A display mounted outside the glass, read by walk-ins and passing traffic from 5 to 8 m, shows a vehicle at full width on 12x8 ft. • Temple gopuram side or church gate in Basavanagudi, Malleshwaram or Frazer Town. Devotees read timings, sevas and a live feed of the sanctum from the gate or the road at 4 to 10 m, in full sun by day and after dark through festival season. • Hospital, school or college entrance in Yelahanka, Rajajinagar or Electronic City. Parents, students and visitors read notices and directions from the drop-off point at 5 to 8 m; a 10x6 ft P4 keeps several lines of text readable at that range.
• Wedding hall or convention centre facade on Tumakuru Road or Mysuru Road. Guests arrive by car and read the couple's names and the hall number from 6 to 12 m; a 12x8 ft P4 does that from across the car park and dims for the evening reception. See the wedding hall page.

When to step finer or coarser

Step finer to outdoor P3, at ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 per sq ft, when the nearest reader stands 3 to 4 m from the wall: a narrow-pavement boutique on Commercial Street, or a street-facing menu that people read while they decide. Where a shopfront menu is read even closer, from 3 to 5 m at the counter window, the outdoor P2.5 fitted at Acai Theory in Indiranagar is quoted on request. Step coarser to P5, at ₹4,000 to ₹6,500 per sq ft, when the first viewer is 5 m or further and the wall is large enough to carry the coarser module without the logo breaking up, and to P6 only for a large facade read from 6 m and beyond. The hoarding pitches P8 and P10 are for large displays read from 8 to 10 m and more, not for a shopfront. Indoors, the answer is never P4: go to P2.5 from 2.5 m, P2.0 at 2 m, or P1.8 when people stand inside 2 m. P4 vs P3 and P5

These are the two outdoor pitches a P4 enquiry in Bengaluru ends up choosing between: the finer P3 for a close pavement and the coarser P5 for a larger, further wall.

The reading of that table is that P4 sits at the point where the outdoor price stops falling quickly. On a 10x6 ft shopfront the step down from P3 to P4 is the gap between ₹4.8 lakh and ₹3 lakh at the entry price, and from about 8 m, the ideal distance for P4, the two look the same. The further step from P4 to P5 is only the gap between ₹3 lakh and ₹2.4 lakh on the same wall, while dropping a 12x8 ft wall from 914 x 609 to 731 x 487 pixels and pushing the comfortable distance out to 5 m. That is why P4 is the default: it is the coarsest pitch that still draws a logo and a line of text cleanly on a shopfront-sized wall, and the saving for going coarser is small until the wall is hoarding-sized. Buy P3 when the reader is inside 4 m; buy P5 or P6 when the wall is large and the nearest viewer is well beyond 5 m; buy P4 for everything in between, which on a Bengaluru high street is most shops.

What a P4 wall from PixelSpot includes

How to get an exact P4 price

1. Measure the fascia or wall opening and the distance to the nearest regular viewer. Under 4 m, tell us; the answer may be P3. Over 5 m on a large wall, the answer may be P5 and cheaper. Note which way the wall faces, because a west-facing fascia needs the top of the nits band.
